Gutštejn
Gutštejn is one of the most romantic castle ruins in the Czech Republic. The Gutštejn castle ruins stand on a forested elevation above the valley of the Hadovka stream, near Konstantinovy Lázne in Tachovsko in the Pilsen region. All that remains of the forecourt is a small cellar carved into rock. The oldest part of the castle grounds is a high prismatic tower with strikingly round quoins. Parts of the southern and northern castle palace and perimeter walls of the inner castle have also survived. The castle ruins are freely accessible.
