Castle Choustník. The castle was built by Beneš from Choustník sometime after 1250. The second phase of the castle’s construction came a century later under the barons of Rožmberk; the mighty walls of Choustník at that point discouraged even the Hussites despite the fact that from their center, Tábor, it was possible to walk to the castle in three hours.

After the 15th century, the events of war avoided South Bohemia, so that the importance of the castle declined and as of the second half of the following century it was no longer being maintained.

Its outer walls are mostly renewed today, to a lesser extent also the inner walls and the tower, which offers a beautiful view over the countryside.

Замок Хоустник (Choustník). Большие развалины града, основанного в 13-м столетии. Расширен в 1430 году Рожмберками, в 1614 – заброшен. Архитектура града довольно специфическая – двойной град с двумя башнями и двумя дворцами. От часовни остались только ставни от овальных окон. Колодец. Северная башня превращена в смотровую площадку.
